One thing I love about Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes? The large cast of awesome female superheroes that appear in most every episode. Wasp and Ms. Marvel are the only official Avengers, but the supporting cast is packed. S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D. are headed by Maria Hill and Abigail Brand. Nick Fury works alongside Black Widow, Mockingbird and (the recently introduced) Quake. Invisible Woman has gotten the most screen time of the entire Fantastic Four. And on the bad side, Viper’s been a prominent villain, along with Enchantress (not pictured) in the first season.

Yeah, it would be great to have more of these women actually ON the Avengers, but the roster is so fluid that it’s hard to tell who is and isn’t on the team. The spotlight is so wide that every character, Avenger or no, is important.

I dunno, I just think it’s rad.

Also it’s rad that two of them have green hair.

Oh, fuck me, is that AGENT BRAND?! YESSSS. Also, why is Tony wielding Steve’s shield?
